So I have been running a lot more lately. It is really improving my life. It makes me feel better about my day and makes me more tired at night. I am slowly improving my distance and time every time I run and I am enjoying it. I use to hate running, now that I am at school it seems like a good idea. I am not running because I need to lose weight (I am below my average weight) but rather to stay in shape.
I am currently doing a Slow-Fast workout:
I walk for 5 minutes;
I run for 10 minutes;
I walk for 2 minutes;
I run for 10 minutes;
I walk for 5 minutes.
I am adding to this everyday, and by adding I mean to the running time. I hope to get rid of the walk in between the runs so therefore I can just run a straight so many minutes.
Stopping and going helps your metabolism (thats why I do it).
Hopefully you guys are running also.
