So when was the last time you emailed someone? How about use a email service other than Facebook?
For some reason whenever someone says “I will email it to you” it really means “I will send it to you over Facebook because I don’t know what email really is.”
Remember when Hotmail, Yahoo, or maybe even Netscape were the big email companies? Then all of a sudden services like Myspace and Facebook came in and took over the email industry. It’s weird how people depend more on a social networking website rather than an actual email.
The next time you email someone, think about this:
- Do I have their email address?
- Will they check their email?
- I will just Facebook it
Here is a step by step way of Facebook messaging someone:
- Log onto Facebook
- Hover over the “Inbox”
- Click “Compose New Message”
- Type in their name
- Write away
Sadly enough, Facebook is probably easier to use.
