Have you watched any of today’s Disney Channel Films? I know I haven’t, probably since they suck now (oh and also probably because I am older but that’s not the point). When I was growing up we had cool movies like Brink, HalloweenTown, Alley Cats Strike, Johnny Tsunami, and Motocrossed (just to name a few) while today the films that Disney puts out are High School Musical, High School Musical 2, Cheetah Girls, Camp Rock, and Jump in!. Don’t those sounds oh so exciting to watch. Here is the reliable Wikipedia link to the list of movies: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Channel_Original_Movie
Back when I was into Disney Channel, Disney would put out between 8-12 movies a year. Pretty much every month a movie would come out. I would always watch it too, even if it were a Friday night or whatever the hell the night was but now Disney puts out about 3-6 in the last three years. So that’s one about every2.6 months (if you take the average) so lets just round that up to 3. What is exciting about watching a movie that comes out every three months rather than every month? NOTHING.
It seems like today’s movies are about dancing and singing. Every single one of them, honestly I don’t know any little kids that like that unless they are gay. At least our movies had Class. Rollerblading for money, kids going to a new town called Halloween Town, kid’s bowling, Johnny going snowboarding, and a girl taking over the bike scene. Now today it is the same music-boring shit.
Disney movies suck now.
Oh and Disney doesn’t put out.
